Hollywood Software Offers Online Demo
Hollywood Software, Inc., a premier provider of applications for the entertainment industry, announces that an online demonstration of the booking function of TDS 2000, its theatrical distribution system, is now available on the company’s website. The online demonstration shows the user how TDS 2000 can be used to plan, confirm and book theatres for films. Additional demos or other functions will continuously be added over the next several months.
Hollywood Software has provided the on line demonstration in preparation for the development of an international version of the software and the launch of an ASP (application service provider) version of TDS 2000.
“We are actively pursuing the international market and the small independent distributors,” says David Gajda, chief executive officer. “Providing demos of the software via the Internet will allow our potential clients to see how powerful and flexible the application is prior to arranging an on-site demonstration.”

TDS 2000 is billed as the only fully integrated client-server theatrical distribution system containing all key elements to manage film distribution. In addition to booking, TDS 2000 also includes features that manage print counts and shipping, billing, settlements, cash receipts, box office, statements and reporting. TDS 2000 is fully scalable from single-user to several hundred simultaneous users to meet the needs of both major and independent content producers. The system interfaces with internal systems and external entities such as Technicolor and ETS for print distribution, and EDI for theatre gross information.
