Hollywood, CA, Hollywood Software, Inc., today announces the debut of its On-Line Release Schedule, a subscription-based internet data service, created in conjunction with MovieLine International, that is designed to provide real-time theatrical film and competitive release date information. The On-Line Release Schedule is available to licensed subscribers through Hollywood Software’s industry portal, TheatricalDistribution.com. The Release Schedule service includes many features designed to streamline the cumbesome process of understanding and tracking competitive film releases industry-wide. The On-Line Release Schedule includes planned release information for all U.S. distributors offered on a flexible, real-time basis. Competitive release information is provided in both calendar and chronological listing formats, with information easily sorted by date, title, distributor or genre. The service provides detailed information about each film and links to official websites and trailers. Release information can also be downloaded directly into Hollywood Software’s distribution system, TDS2000, and its exhibition management system, EMS, to facilitate the planning, analysis and booking of upcoming films. Six US Studios are already using the service and the company has begun to enlist subscribers from exhibition.
